• Anyone wanting to be nominated for homecoming representing council, the applications are due 9/12 at 2PM.
• SGA has some extra money that can be requested:
• Council will submit a request for new council office chairs.
• Council will submit a request for additional money for more people to go to NAESC
• Dean Day asked for student opinions on the technology fee.
• Also, opinions are still wanted on student discount cards.

• Attended meeting about the graduate program on Tuesday.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA required to be a good standing graduate student.
• Still 2.5 required to be accepted into the master of engineering program.

• The printer in the council office should be fixed.
• Changes to improve the reliability of the council computers will be made shortly.

• Fall career fair is over capacity. The most recent edition is Microsoft.
• Alumni council meeting last Tuesday. There is an alumni tailgating event during games
• They are starting a mentoring program for students at speed. Targeting Junior/Senior students who are looking for jobs. Would consist of a dinner type meeting, possibly monthly.
• The new Speed website should go live next week.
• SGA meeting was resheculed for September 30.
• AP&P meeting Tuesday. They will officially be perusing accreditation for graduates as of 2010, but graduates of 2009 would be grandfathered in if accepted. They will also peruse an appeal for students graduating in 2008. Other business included, for next fall, 2009, they will be perusing a single vendor for selling Tablet PCs.

• Tentative date for E-Expo is March 7th.
• Working on securing buildings on that day.
• Kersey will be under construction that day, so it will be unavailable.

• SSSC Elections will be held next Thursday during Society Picnic.

The annual Society Picnic will be held in front of J.B. Speed, with free food and the chance to meet with your society!
In a special case, we are also having our representative elections! We will be voting for 1st, 4th, and 5th year reps!
