Director's Reports
President - Dick Jones:
- We need three volunteers at every Freshman Orientation.
- We need to choose a Speed News Editor. We need all names by Sunday and we will choose Monday.
Director of Administration - Travis Cook:
- Looking with FLAC (Me, Mary, Michele) to host orientation events and Welcome Weekend open house, in conjunction with Admissions
- Assassins begins 5/21 at 12:01am.
- Elections will be Wednesday May 30th from Noon to 3:00pm.
- All Directors need to have a committee meeting in the next month
- Constitutional Revision Committee will meet soon.
Director of Finance - Adwait Kumar (Proxy):
- Food Run is forthcoming.
- Send Food Requests to Adwait.
- Adwait will be accepting T-Shirt ideas.
Director of Public Relations - Mary Soltys:
- Committee Meeting Today for Advertising current events.
- Facebook advertising is forthcoming!
Director of Society Relations - Shannon George:
- Society President meeting is Tuesday.
- Working on a possible Presidents retreat. Tentative date on June 16th.
Director of Student Activities - Michele Harpring:
- Summer League Signups going on
- More Information coming up.
- Cheap Lunch is next Tuesday at 11:00
Freshman Council President - Alex Frommeyer:
- Absent
- Getting prizes handed out. Meeting on Thursday.

- Speed News Editor will be selected in New Business
- We need a new meeting place for next Semester
Director of Administration - Travis Cook:
- Assassins apparently had a few issues in initiatial contracts - They'll be fixed by the next game.
- Assassins will also be ending soon due to the low number of players. As such, we may be starting a new one sooner than expected.
Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations - Matt McConnell:
- Bats Game - May 24th with Alumni.
Director of Finance - Adwait Kumar (Proxy):
- Dont use the Pro-Card without Adwait!
- We're starting to buy the things we discussed on the appriations meeting.
Director of Public Relations - Mary Soltys:
- We're buying a banner for advertising.
- Deadline for Logo Submission: Meeting after NExt
Director of Society Relations - Shannon George:
- Presidents Meeting is Tommorrow.
- Societies were excused from the last meeting.
Director of Student Activities - Michele Harpring:
- Volleyball & Frisbee Signups - 0 Teams so far.
- Deadline is Friday for Volleyball, WEdnesday for Frisbee.
Cheap Lunch tommorrow @ 11:00.
Director of Student Affairs - Laura Harpring:
- Freshman Orientations are being put together.
- RSO Fairs: 11:30-1:00pm second day of Orientation
- Standing Committees are being assigned.

- Orientation is going well - thanks to everyone who's helping!
- Call Dean Wilhelm "Dad" - Something IBA Suggested.
Director of Administration - Travis Cook:
- Assassins begins June 11th @ Midnight.
- Making progress on the website! Working with Max to get up-to-date.
- I'm working with Jared to further incorporate Speed News into speedcouncil.org.
- SSSC Society Game Night is tonight! Come out and help!
Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations - Matt McConnell:
- Attended IBA meeting last week.
- Statistics showed that 85% of people in the area love Speed School. Of the 85% less than 15% knew what we did.

- Council office needs a restock.
- Accepting new T-Shirt Designs.

- Trying to get Societies out to Game Night.

- Volleyball starts tommorow!
- Frisbee has 6 teams so far, still looking to get more.
- Speed Olympics is Next Week. Working with SAB to finalize things.
- Cheap Lunch is June 19th.

- People are continually needed for the RSO Fair and Orientation.
- Freshman Handbook will be delivered at the first few GES.
Faculty Advisor - Dr. Willing:
- Tommorow begins the INSPIRE program.
- A group of students will be around for the next three weeks.
There will be a "gifted students" program beginning sometime in the next month.
Speed News Editor - Jared Hatfield:
Speed News went out today.
- There is also an online 'blog" for Speed News at speednewslouisville.blogspot.com
- Will soon be redirected from speedcouncil.org/speednews/

- Looking to get military hardware as an exhibit.

- Volleyball Tournament is this week, Frisbee is next week. Come out!
Faculty Advisor - Dr. Willing:
- The Engineering-related summer programs ended on Friday. Big thanks to everyone who helped!
- SWE Sleepover is July 12th.

- FLAC/Student Tablet User Group now has an "office" in Kersey. Will be moving in as the fall gets closer.
Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations - Matt McConnell:
- Awaiting further reply from Bill Hammock for E-Expo.

- Getting Air Conditioner framed.
- Currently resolving an issue with chartwells possibly double-billing.
