• SGA has some extra money that can be requested:
• Council will submit a request for new council office chairs.
• Council will submit a request for additional money for more people to go to NAESC
• Dean Day asked for student opinions on the technology fee.
• Also, opinions are still wanted on student discount cards.

• Fall career fair is over capacity. The most recent edition is Microsoft.
• Alumni council meeting last Tuesday. There is an alumni tailgating event during games
• They are starting a mentoring program for students at speed. Targeting Junior/Senior students who are looking for jobs. Would consist of a dinner type meeting, possibly monthly.
• The new Speed website should go live next week.
• SGA meeting was resheculed for September 30.
• AP&P meeting Tuesday. They will officially be perusing accreditation for graduates as of 2010, but graduates of 2009 would be grandfathered in if accepted. They will also peruse an appeal for students graduating in 2008. Other business included, for next fall, 2009, they will be perusing a single vendor for selling Tablet PCs.
