President - Tony Harper

  • Someone is looking into the possibility of setting up a Speed Society League with the Intramural Office.

Vice President - Allison Douglas

  • Seeking nominations of Speed educators for an award
  • E-Expo Mania
    • Passed out example flyers given to faculty
    • Seeking to encourage students to register exhibits, particularly undergraduates; a prize will be awarded to early registrants
    • After E-Expo will be our first Invitation-only Networking Dinner between Corporate Exhibitors and students
    • Need plenty of volunteers to help out with E-Expo
    • Hope to have Mitzi's open, or partially open, on E-Expo
    • Have a couple of High School visits planned to show off E-Expo

Director of Administration - Max Battcher

  • An Assassins game will be starting in February
  • Council members should register for an account on the website
  • Every Council member should be in at least one committee

Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations - Adam Pfendt

  • The E-Expo Keynote Speaker will be Sonny Marshall, an entrepreneur in communications devices
  • The exhibits at E-Expo have been named the "Corporate Expo"

Director of Public Relations - Harkina Rangi

  • Putting up flyers 2:00-2:30 PM tomorrow
  • Looking for committee members

Director of Society Relations - Michele Harpring (Proxy)

  • Society Cup will be happening around E-Expo

  • 22 people have signed up for the Assassins game starting February 5
    • Everyone will be given at least 2 contracts at game start (depending on my benevolent whim and the final count of people playing)
    • This game should be quick, chaotic and fun. Give me any feedback. Check your mail often. Rules are the same, follow the rules.

Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations - Adam Pfendt

  • There will be a Company Call-a-thon Friday 11-2PM in the Council Office. Please help!
  • 9 Companies have registered for E-Expo thus far
  • Generating invoices for the registered companies
  • We need more judges; if anyone has family members that might qualify talk to me.
